For a related page, Google:: "Saturn V Rocket Launch Speed and Height" Real rockets, even toy rockets, clear 100 meters in less than one second, while fake NASA rockets take 10+ seconds to do so, at excatly the speed of weather baloons.!!!!

That POS could never be sealed against the supposed vacuum of space. It's just got to hold two ass tro nots while they parachute down from a high altitude airplane. Only a few folks need to know the real truth. The ground crews and controllers etc. probably think the thing actually was in orbit.

Saturns were some of the first rockets developed exclusively for manned space flight, without a military application.

The laminar cooling is cool... and then you see that pillar of a constant controlled explosion following. Absolutely crazy. Tons of fuel and oxidizer per second.

The flow rate is unfathomable... That's like draining a tall grain silo in seconds rather than minutes. Mind boggling.

Fascinating. You get the propellants moving so fast they burn OUTSIDE the engine. The nozzle just ensures the explosion of throwaway mass occurs a couple metres from anything meltable.

I was almost 3 when Apollo 11 took off. I don't remember it but I do remember watching some of the later missions in the early 70s. Sparked a lifelong interest in space and it's exploration.

I'm 64. I still think that the Saturn 5 is the greatest machine that humans have come up with. Human rated, with more than enough reliable thrust to travel to the Moon. In 1968,, which was the first manned iunar orbit.mission, it wa only 65 years after the Wright brothers did their thing with a powered kite on a North Carolina beach.
